Location: Lonsdale SA 5160

Rate: Au$ 34 per hour

Shift: 6:30am to 3:00pm



Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for learning the Material Handlers' role in the Mouldshop, which involves working in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking, and operating machinery safely. The primary role of the Forklift Operator is to drive the forklift, assist with moving materials and products, and work closely with both machinery and people to ensure the efficient operation of the site.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the forklift to move materials and products around
  
• Assist with learning the Material Handlers' role in the Mouldshop
  
• Work in a fast-paced environment and perform tasks efficiently
  
• Drive safely and follow all safety guidelines and procedures
  
• Multi-task and work with machinery and people simultaneously
  
• Assist in the manufacture of cooling units from scratch on site
  
• Handle units of various scales, from household to industrial size
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role
  
• Valid forklift certification
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
  
• Experience working with machinery and in an industrial setting
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  
• Strong attention to detail and focus on safety
  
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding role
